About the School

Who we are

Rajat Public School is an English-medium, co-educational school at Saidpur Bhitare in District Ambedkar Nagar, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school was set up so that children from the villages around Saidpur Bhitare would not have to travel to a district town for a CBSE education.

What we work towards

  • Teaching in English from the earliest classes, without losing the child’s own language.
  • Class sizes small enough that a teacher knows every child by name.
  • Science, computer and mathematics laboratories that children actually use every week.
  • Sport, music and art timetabled — not treated as extras.

Our crest

The school crest carries an open book lit by rays, and around it the marks of four faiths — the Om, the Cross, the Crescent and the Khanda. The four words on the ring are Peace, Unity, Hope and Love. The banner reads Light of the World, and the base reads Conquer evil by goodness. The children who come to this school come from every community in and around Saidpur Bhitare, and the crest says plainly what the school intends to be for all of them.
